Packing is the worst.
I’m going away for the long weekend (yay!) for my friend Elizabeth’s bachelorette party (double yay!) but packing a carry-on for a weekend where I’m not sure exactly what we’re doing is HARD.  Packing (smartly and concisely) is the worst.

Happy New Year!

Things that make me happy about Austin tonight:

Seriously though...
Denver really needs to get on the ball with the whole private karaoke room situation.  It is one thing that the city is seriously lacking. In other news, I had a friggin’ blast tonight and really remembered why I miss my Austin friends so much.  They’re the greatest people, and private karaoke rooms are always a good time.

Crowdsourcing
I got a new MacBookPro for Xmas and I need to transfer all of my files and programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, etc) over.  Is it possible to go to the Mac store and have them transfer all of it over for you or do I have to reinstall all of my applications from CD and files from my external hard drive? (ETA: My old computer is a MacBook too.)
