On 2010:
I married my best friend after 7.5 years together. The wedding was simple and outdoors and comfortable, all of my favorite people were there, and I danced my socks off that night. I picked up my life and moved to Denver, and could not be more happy with my new city and new life here. I watched my best friends go through the best of times and the worst of times, and was there to stand by...

Catsparella: The Best Maru Moments of 2010 →
Y’know. Because Maru is the coolest cat ever (next to Sadie).
(Thanks to Uncle Bill)
I just watched “Letters to Juliet” (I know, I know, CHEESE-tastic) but it was worth all the CHEESE for the gorgeous views of Italy. It makes me miss Italy SO much! And specifically, it makes me miss my girls trip to Verona in 2005. Some highlights:

Today has been most excellent.
I got all of my Xmas present returns/exchanges finished.
The house guest left (love ya Jake) and my life feels normal again.

I’m curled up on the couch with my kitten and girly Red Box movies.
I may have found a home for the precious cat that my sis-in-law is finding a home for.

I still have so much to catch up on...
But in the meantime let me say:
1. Having Jake here is fun, but I’m tired and just want to lounge around in my pajamas and eat normally and pet my cat.
2. Thank you for all of you Denverites who offered up your suggestions for New Years. I still don’t know what to do. We have a big group of people who can’t make up their minds about anything but hopefully whatever we decide...
Dear Internet,
As someone who has never spent New Years in Denver, what is the coolest/best way to celebrate in this city? Ideas?
Much appreciated,
Lauren

Heading home to the ATX in about 10 hours. VERY excited.
Currently.
Final Grades are in for my 1st semester of grad...
I made all A’s, and my lowest grade was a 96. Either I am a GENIUS or I’m a big dork of an over-achiever. I have a feeling it’s a giant case of the latter.
Jeff's Work Holiday Party
Overall, really fun.
Foie Gras. Enough said.
Went to TWELVE restaurant in LoDo and it was awesome. Denverites should check it out.
